A Productive and Fulfilling Year; Dev Retro 2022

The year 2022 has been a defining year for me. I have accomplished so much and made significant strides in my personal and professional life. From earning a Master's Degree to securing a full-time job, I have worked hard and dedicated myself to my goals, and it has paid off. I am proud of everything I have achieved and am excited to see what the future holds. Here are some of the highlights of my year:

During the first 6 months of 2022:

• I earned a Master's Degree with distinction: After years of hard work and dedication, I was thrilled to graduate with high honors. Earning a Master's Degree with distinction is something I am extremely proud of and will always be a highlight of my year.

• I completed a six-month internship during my last semester of college: I knew that gaining practical experience was important for my future career, so I made sure to secure an internship during my final semester of college. It was a great opportunity to apply what I had learned in the classroom and gain valuable real-world experience.

• I paid my last semester's fees myself: I was able to pay for my last semester's fees on my own thanks to the income I earned from a client project and a freelance project. This was a major accomplishment for me and a testament to my hard work and dedication.

• I was honored as employee of the quarter (Q1): My hard work and dedication were recognized when I was named employee of the quarter for the first quarter of the year. This recognition was a great honor and motivator for me to continue striving for excellence.

• I published a new app on the google play store: I was excited to see my app go live on the Google Play Store. This was a major accomplishment for me and a great way to showcase my skills and creativity to a wider audience.

• I had my yagyopavit sanskar: In addition to my professional achievements, I also had the opportunity to participate in a traditional Hindu ritual called a yagyopavit sanskar. This was a meaningful and special experience for me.

During the next 6 months of 2022:

• I secured a full-time job: After completing my studies and gaining valuable experience through internships and projects, I was fortunate to secure a full-time job. This was a major milestone for me and I am excited to continue building my career.

• I created a classical ping-pong game: In my spare time, I created a classical ping-pong game. It was a fun and challenging project that allowed me to showcase my creativity and technical skills.

• I created a CLI for generating project templates: I also developed a CLI (command-line interface) for generating project templates. This was a useful tool that I was able to share with others.

• I published packages on pub.dev: I also published some packages on pub.dev, a popular platform for packages. This was a great way for me to share my work with others and get feedback on my projects.

• I invested in stocks, mutual funds, and cryptocurrency: I made smart financial decisions by investing a significant portion of my income into stocks, mutual funds, and cryptocurrency. This allowed me to grow my wealth and prepare for the future.

• I started exploring backend technologies: I always strive to learn and grow, so I started exploring backend technologies to expand my skill set and knowledge. This was an exciting new adventure for me and opened up new opportunities for growth and development.

Overall, 2022 was a very productive, fulfilling and transformative year for me. I achieved many of my goals, both personal and professional, and I continued to grow and develop in many ways. I am grateful for all of the experiences and opportunities that I had in 2022, and I am excited for what the future holds

I am looking forward to the year 2023 and all the new opportunities and challenges it may bring. I am determined to continue working hard and pushing myself to new heights. With dedication and determination, I am confident that I will continue to succeed and achieve my goals. Here's to a bright and exciting future!
